Our focus is on assisting injured workers return to work and reach active self-management of injury and pain. We want to understand the impact pain and injury is having on our clients capacity to engage in work and other meaningful activities and work on bridging this gap through functional restoration.
Our clients take an active role in their recovery and we strive to provide the education and practical tools required to assist in the long-term self-management of injury and activities.
We take a biopsychosocial approach and integrate evidence based cognitive behavioural principles into our programs.

Katerina presented at the Exercise and Sports Science Australia National Conference in 2008 on clinical outcomes of exercise rehabilitation programs in the management of subacute and chronic lower back pain (click here for abstract link) and was presented with a Professional Practice Award for her work in this area.
